General

  • Spree is for children and young people age 8 to 15.

  • Yes, we are able to accommodate day visitors. We will release day tickets for Spree Wales in April.

  • Groups can arrive from 5pm on the Friday to set up, settle in etc. Some activities are open from 6pm but the event really kicks off with our first meeting together at about 8pm on the Friday and we close things out on the Sunday by 2pm.

  • Unfortunately not. We can’t permit pets onsite. Please contact us if you have a registered support animal as we may be able to make arrangements for this.


Camping

  • There are a couple of options around food. You can bring food and cooking equipment with you and cater for your group yourself. Alternatively, for an additional cost, we can cater for your group for the weekend.

    There will also be a cafe and tuck shop on site that is open throughout the weekend.

  • Group leaders bring their own tents for leaders and delegates. You are also welcome to bring gazebos/small marquees for social areas or feeding your group.

    You will be allotted a specific area of the site and, if required, you can send volunteers down early to set up your area. You must contact us to arrange this.

  • Yes. You must book this in advance, for an additional charge. Please note that generators are not allowed on site.

  • Spree Wales has plenty of access to toilet and shower facilities, water supply and sinks for washing up etc.

  • There is no WiFi available onsite. However, there is reasonable cellular signal coverage.

  • There is a car park onsite for Spree Wales. We must advise that while we do our best to keep the site secure throughout the weekend, vehicles parked onsite over the weekend are left at the owner’s risk. The car park is within the boundaries of the site.

    You will not be able to park cars in your camping site.


Accessibility

  • We provide a disabled accessible toilet on site which will be open 24/7 over the weekend.

    We also have an additional needs venue staffed by an experienced team.

Volunteering

  • Young people aged 16+ can join the Service Crew, helping with activities and commitments throughout the weekend.

  • Yes! As well as Service Crew, Adult Volunteers are needed at Spree to help with all of the activities include setup and takedown, activities, catering, and site security.
