One Amazing Weekend

What is Spree Wales?

Spree is a residential weekend for church groups, bringing children and young people together to worship, learn more about Jesus, and enjoy the weekend together.

Spree Wales takes place from Friday to Sunday on the first weekend of July each year (2nd to 4th July 2027). Children and young people aged 8 to 15 come with their church groups for a weekend of worship, teaching, prayer, activities, workshops, seminars, and plenty more happening across the site.

Spree Wales takes place at the Carmarthen Showground, with easy travel links from many parts of Wales.

All for Jesus

Jesus is central to the purpose and programme of Spree Wales.

The weekend creates opportunities for children and young people to worship, learn more about Jesus, pray, explore faith, and spend time together as a church group. Spree is clearly Christian, but it doesn’t assume that every young person who comes already identifies as a Christian. Young people who are part of church or youth groups while exploring Christianity are welcome too.

A weekend to remember

Spree Wales has been running for over 20 years and is the largest Christian festival weekend in Wales, welcoming groups from all over Wales and beyond.

In 2027, we are expecting over 1,000 people across the weekend, including children, young people, group leaders, and volunteers!

Behind the scenes

Spree Wales is a ministry of Faith Space, part of the Rumney Chapel family.

Spree Wales operates as an independent festival and is made possible through a network of charities and organisations, alongside the volunteers, Service Crew, group leaders, and teams who help deliver the weekend.
