Help make Spree Wales One Amazing Weekend

Every year, people from churches and organisations across Wales and beyond come together to help create a weekend where children and young people can worship, learn more about Jesus, enjoy everything happening across the site, and spend time together with their groups.

There are plenty of ways to be part of the team, whether you are joining Service Crew or bringing experience and skills as an Adult Volunteer.

Service Crew

Service Crew is open to anyone aged 16 or over and sits right at the heart of the practical running of the weekend.

Crew members help run and supervise activities, support teams across the site, and get involved wherever they’re needed. It’s a busy weekend, but there’s plenty of fun along the way and a whole team serving alongside each other.

Most importantly, Service Crew plays a real part in making Spree happen for hundreds of children and young people.

Service Crew tickets cost £25

Anyone aged 18 or over serving on Service Crew will need a valid enhanced DBS check.

Adult Volunteers

Spree also relies on adults who can bring their experience, skills, and care to help the weekend run safely and smoothly.

There are opportunities to serve in teams such as:

  • Activities

  • Group Leader Support

  • Spree Team Pastoral Care

  • Safeguarding

  • First Aid

  • Catering

  • Cleaning

  • Site Security

  • Set up and take down

  • Administration

  • Production

Some roles are right in the middle of everything happening on site. Others happen quietly behind the scenes. All of them help make Spree possible.
